High quality restocking
Inverness Fish Farming is committed to bringing the highest quality of restocking fish to our customers. We are also constantly striving to offer the best value for what is already a high value product.
Over the past three years we have been stocking a number of large fisheries with our one-year-old fish. The results have been stunning to say the least. The fish are stocked at between 6-8 inches either in autumn or spring and are allowed to gain size using the natural feeding of the loch. When the fish achieve a take-able size they are indistinguishable from a wild fish.
The beauty of this system is the cost. If the loch is large enough and/or has reasonable food availability then the results can be exceptional. This can be achieved at a fraction of the cost of stocking larger fish.
